Day 5

Edi-Rae woke up at 4:30am. Paddy’s eyes are red. Is it conjunctivitis? I can’t send him to day-care with red eyes, damn! I have an important meeting so our nanny is coming for a bit to help with the kids. Disaster morning. I can’t seem to put Edi-Rae down for a sleep, she needs extra attention but then paddy keeps coming in and waking her. I give up and wait for the nanny. She arrives THANK THE LORD ABOVE. I manage to get Edi-Rae to sleep and the nanny takes paddy outside to burn some energy so I can have this meeting in silence.

I have my next print of books half way done so I need to get the stockist information ready and also make some changes to the website before they arrive so they are ready to sell. This whole process actually freaks me out so much. I have to make so many decisions because it’s my business and I wish someone could just tell me what to do sometimes. I honestly don’t know how people run a big business. It’s just one product, me and an assistant I have for like 5 hours a week, let alone someone who has multiple products and people to work with- nup, no thanks. If you run a big business, hats off to you- that would be so hard.

Paddy’s eyes aren’t getting any worse so fingers crossed he sleeps well tonight and is okay for day-care tomorrow…
