I actually can’t even believe how much I did today. It was so busy. I had both kids all day but also had work and household duties that I needed to do before I head in to hospital tomorrow. Edi-Rae woke at 5:30am then Paddy woke at 6. Paddy actually slept through the night (so proud of him!). I emptied the dishwasher while I made myself a coffee then sat with the kids for a while before I made a start on breakfast. While they were eating I packed book orders and loaded up the car then I wrote a shopping list so I could stock the house up for everyone before my surgery. There were 50 packages in the car which all together is around 30kg. When we pulled up to the post office I loaded my kids into the trolly seats and then packed the trolly full of the books ready to push them to the post office. I was worried the trolly was going to break it was so heavy. We then did the groceries, got smoothies and headed back home. I unloaded Paddy from the car, got him to do a wee before he did it in his pants and then got the groceries out followed by Edi-Rae.
Edi-Rae didn’t want me to put her down so I unpacked the groceries while holding her on my hip. I kind of half did it then gave up and we played in the toy room. It was time for some food so I sat the kids at the table while I finished unpacking the groceries and tidied the kitchen. I was also cleaning out the toy storage cupboard while this was happening too. And clearing off the magnetic fridge organiser so I could fill it out for the next 4 weeks so everyone knows what is going on. After lunch we played in the lounge room and when I would get a chance I would go in the garage to bring boxes in so I could cut them down for recycling as the garage is full of empty boxes. The kids loved the different boxes which I thought they would. Edi-Rae walked the the bathroom and said “poo poo” so I put her on the toilet for her to do a poo. I encouraged paddy to do the same but he refused. Now for bed time. Thank god.
Once they were in bed I had to call the hospital to see what time I have to go in tomorrow and when I need to fast from. I need to be there from 11am and fast from 5:30. I feel like I should wake up at 5 and have a quick coffee. The kids would usually wake me up in time for this but Murphys law they will both sleep in 
. While on the phone I tidied up the house and then I headed to the kitchen to prep dinner. While prepping I remembered I needed to post for every plate so I filmed that content which and then I posted it. Paddy woke up just as I finished that so everything was still a mess. I sat him on the couch to watch some TV and did a really quick clean up. He was happy so I finished tidying up and then I got my laptop out to do the pays and some invoicing. I got maybe half of my Xero to do list done then Edi-Rae woke up. We had some afternoon tea followed by some more fun in the playroom- we had a dance party! After that daddy got home. We had dinner and a bath, followed by some drawing at the table to make some Xmas cards and wrapping paper then it was off to Pilates for me! Once I got home I stayed up to get some more stuff done on my laptop while I tried to watch selling sunsets. Now I’m beyond exhausted and ready for bed. X
