Just in recovery after getting my tonsils out, high on endone and this is bliss. I haven’t felt this relaxed I since I got my epidural put in when having Edi-Rae. Nurses keep asking me if I need anything and offering me icy poles which is also bliss. It feels nice to be cared for. I love nurses. They are always so beautiful and caring. I’m really hungry so I hope they bring me a sandwich soon. The doctor just saw me and said there were lots of little stones in my tonsils which could have been part of the pain I’ve been feeling daily. I came home feeling fine (a tiny bit sore but nothing worse than I’ve been feeling this whole time) and still managed to eat solids as I knew it would go downhill from here. I ate maccas on the way home then KFC at like 10pm while watching Selling Sunsets. I have not relaxed like this in so long. It was actually bliss. I actually felt bad for Nick watching him do all of the parenting.
