Today the kids went to day care which I’m usually stoked about but today I was the opposite because both of the kids started in new rooms with new teachers. The reason I don’t like this is because every transition Paddy has had it has taken him so long to get used to the change. We got to daycare and luckily pulled up at the same time as Paddy’s best friend which absolutely saved the day. Paddy was so excited he didn’t care about the new room and new playground. His new playground is for all of the bigger kids, there were actual 4 year olds in there riding scooters and stuff! HOW IS MY NEWBORN BABY BOY IN THE BIG PLAYGROUND WTF? Next I took Edi-Rae to her new room and oh my goodness, my heart shattered leaving her there. I stayed and played for as long as I could but when I left she was screaming. She ended up settling and having a good day but me on the other hand was a mess. I got through lots of work today and also had my first drum lesson of the year! I was so happy to be back at drums, it makes me feel so good and is so good or my brain. I actually did wear better than expected after well over a month off. If you are reading this and there has been something you have been wanting to do or learn- just do it! Life is too short to wait and you deserve to do what makes you happy.
