Day 95

We didn’t get up to much on Australia Day as I choose not to celebrate it, but Nick had no work on so we just spent the day as a family. We actually went to the beach which we hardly ever do and need to do more. I think just every time we do it’s so hectic so it takes a while for us to do it again. I don’t find the beach with the kids fun, I find it such a challenge. Paddy hates the water and Edi-Rae loves it but just tries to drown herself and gets pissed off when you stop her from drowning herself so its just exhausting. Both kids get over it really quickly, especially when its super hot like it has been over the weekend. When we got home both kids had a nap and woke up really off. Paddy didn’t look well in the eyes and was screaming like he was possessed for over an hour. We didn’t know what to do. I offered him everything I could and he refused and just screamed louder and louder. I even offered him chocolate and he refused that which is really concerning. I really had to go to the shops and wanted to take him but he couldn’t even stop crying to get ready. I had to just leave as I couldn’t get any kids ready to come and they were going to close. When I got home Nick looked like he had seen a ghost and said they screamed the whole time and he wanted to quit but he couldn’t. I did notice that they were in the same spot as when I left so I changed it up and took them in to the playroom and played some games and they were absolutely fine. Paddy has a runny nose and Edi-Rae has a cough so I think they are definitely unwell but it isn’t anything that crazy. Nick is meant to go and have a sleepover at his friends house with the kids so I can have the girls back here to continue the party and do karaoke, so if they are sick I’m going to have to cancel which I’ll be so gutted about because I’ve been so excited!
